Roles and Responsibilities

  • Should drive the discovery genomics service business for North and East.
  • Should connect with key players in govt and private segment for strategic business
    initiatives.
  • Developing strategic sales objectives, preparing customized presentations based on
    opportunity analysis, have understanding on the key institution, funding cycle and
    purchase processes.
  • Build rapport with the existing clients and connecting with new clients and channel
    partners for business expansion and development.
  • Has to build strong self-driven team of seasoned sales professionals in the region.
  • Has to build up signicant presence across dierent market segments and regions.
  • Has to develop customer centric approach in the team and process customer
    feedback to improvise the process and business.
  • Has to travel and connect with customers, support team to drive business activity in
    the region for at least 60% of time.
  • Strategize the business goals for the region and share inputs to leadership team.
  • Share eective dashboard on business performance/employee engagement and
    customer satisfaction to leadership team.
  • Mentor the key performers in the team for building their career path.
  • Understand key market dynamics and variables. Plan the strategy for sustainable
    business and monitor the business development activities in the region.
  • Ensure top line performance and go to market strategy for protable business.
  • Eectuating sales promotion as a part of brand building & market development to
    enhance sales pipeline in genomics services.

Experience

  • Should be Masters/Ph.D in Life Sciences/Genetics.
    Should have total experience of at least 6+ years.
  • Should have fair understanding of the discovery genomics market. Should know the
    key customers in the region and share excellent rapport.
  • Skills to understand customer requirement and suggest right solutions with utmost
    clarity.
  • Should have worked in matrix organization and worked as team member to drive
    common goal.
  • Should have proven track-record for achieving the annual sales target. Drive business
    in the assigned territory and ensure consistent performance.
  • Should be able to generate/monitor lead and create healthy pipeline in the region.
  • Should have experience of handling the team with seasoned technical sales
    professionals.
